WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF
MOUNTAIN HOME REALTOR TOMIE KAY
Let me tell you a bit about the Mountain Home area. Spring sets in motion the “greening” of the hills and valleys, along with the bright pink blossoms of the redbud trees and the white blossoms of the dogwoods that dot the hills with color. Summer arrives - we have a landscape covered with greenery everywhere you look. Mountain Home is located on the Ozark Mountain Plateau and sits between two crystal clear lakes, Norfork and Bull Shoals, formed by dams on the White River.

The lakes provide for boating, water sports and world-class fishing. The White River is World Famous for its Rainbow and Brown trout and has given anglers world-record catches. Then - Fall arrives in late September/early October, that is when the many varieties of trees that cover the hills and valleys of the Ozarks begin their Fall Foliage Display, which rivals that of New England! During the year you will experience the wildlife (deer, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, fox, wild turkey, dove and other wild birds which are too numerous to mention). A March 2005 article in the Wall Street Journal discusses the retirement opportunities in Mountain Home. Go to the Mountain Home Chamber for much more about the area.
Did you know that Arkansas has the ONLY DIAMOND MINE in the U.S. At the Crater of Diamonds State Park, you can prospect for diamonds and KEEP WHAT YOU FIND! Recent finds have produced large stones, some in the four caret range.
Arkansas has some of the oldest geological rock formations in the world...if not the oldest. Arkansas has mountains, rivers, lakes, streams and caves. You can hike, swim, fish, hunt or just observe the wonderful wildlife and beauty of nature. Arkansas is known as “The Natural State”.
